AC Shadows Unveils Unexpected AoT Collaboration for Thanksgiving
In a bizarre partnership that breaks usual forecasts, Ubisoft has revealed an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.
Strange Mission Revealed
According to the official statement, "A mysterious encounter draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where whispers of banned practices and monstrous metamorphoses echo through the shadows." The narrative presents a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a clandestine group.
The mission concentrates on "peculiar experiments and a fearsome foe" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Familiar Locations and Metamorphoses
The preview features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer concludes with a striking scene showing a character, presumably the hostage, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Prizes and Bonus Material
Players who successfully complete the quest will obtain an exclusive katana together with several items secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
- Titan-themed outfit for Yasuke
- Mikasa attire for Naoe

- Survey Corps vehicle
Third Free Story Addition
This release also introduces the game's latest complimentary story content, titled "A Puzzlement."
